May 20, 2006 Pepsi Jeans Update

Thanks to some of our readers, we have been made aware of some "previous generation" Pepsi Jeans. See the pictures below. I've have tried in vain to contact the Pepsi Jeans people to verify the history of the brand and their claim that "Pepsi has never before ventured in the fashion industry".

Please visit the Pepsi Jeans site. It's a new venture, and obviously neither the site nor the line is fully developed. Check out their "Corporate" page, where they say, "Today, for the first time in it's history, the world giant is diversifying into the textile industry by launching Pepsi Cola Jeans."

Their clothes are cool, and it shouldn't matter if the brand was previously handled some other way, but it would be nice to know. Especially for those of you who like to buy vintage jeans.
